Unfurl Space Creations works with clients to create beautiful spaces and gardens.
Our favourite jobs are the ones considered too difficult by others. We love problem solving and designing from a living design basis, where the client’s desires are at the forefront. We work with the client to suit their budget and unique requirements.
Who we are
Our team consists of Ollie, Jim and Rachel and together we design and build nature-inspired playgrounds, pergolas, garden beds, covered orchards and chicken coops, pave, and build ponds.
We work with recycled materials wherever possible and love to collaborate with clients to help spaces and gardens unfurl into new possibilities.
Unfurl Space Creations can also coordinate with other trades to bring the different aspects of the job together.
Along with facilitation, Ollie Macindoe has been able to follow his passion of building, landscaping, and space conversion.
He started landscape gardening and construction under the expert guidance of Gavan Smith and alongside Phil Mullett 8 years ago, where he learned a wide range of skills from deck and pergola construction to paving, plant selection and care and soil amelioration.

Five years ago he created Unfurl Space Creation where he gets to carry out his own projects. Through expert mentoring he has further developed his carpentry skills and experience to include welding and renovations. He works closely with Jim and together they create structures and spaces that inspire, that have minimal cost to the environment and that make their client’s dreams come true.
Rachel Macindoe has a natural talent for space design.
She is a master at sourcing second hand materials and befriending demolition workers who can divert beautiful resources from ending up in landfill. She often collaborates with Jim and Ollie.
Jim Crawford has been working for Ollie for the past two years and has become a real asset to the Unfurl Space Creation business.
He has a keen eye for design, is an excellent welder and a natural problem solver. Jim works hard on any job he is given, from carpentry to paving to building retaining walls. He is strong, consistent, friendly and is a highly valued member of the Unfurl team.

Unfurl Space Creations are experts at building garden beds, paths, paving, rock walls, brick walls, irrigation, planting and mulching. We work with clients to make their dreams come true, coming up with creative solutions to their unique design and budget constraints.
Other Creations
Unfurl Space Creation works with a range of materials, including timber, steel, brick and stone and specialises in decks, pergolas, carports and other outdoor structures.
